Phillip S. Coles is a teaching associate professor of supply chain management at Lehigh University. He publishes in national outlets and trade journals such as The Wall Street Journal and Supply Chain Management Review, as well as refereed journals in agricultural science, business and economics.
Coles previously taught environment science, various business courses and economics at several institutions including Syracuse University, Cornell University and The Pennsylvania State University.
Prior to entering academia full time, he worked in the mushroom and produce industries for more than 35 years. He has a B.S. in entomology from The Pennsylvania State University College of Agricultural Science, an MBA in supply chain management from Lehigh University and an M.S. in applied economics and management from Cornell University.
