Joseph Romance earned his PhD in political science from Rutgers University and spent more than twenty years teaching at Drew University and Fort Hays State University. He is the author, editor or co-author of "The Challenge of Politics, A Republican of Parties?," "Democracy's Literature," "Democracy and Excellence" and, most recently, "Primary Elections and American Politics."
